There are many great fishing lakes and rivers along the Tour de Dovre. Here we have compiled some fishing advice that can be of use while on your trip.
Trout is the main species of fish that you are likely to catch, but char can be found in certain mountain lakes and you might hook a grayling if you are lucky. Or what about a bit of fly fishing along the clear Lågen River at Lesjaleira?
Make sure you check where you are allowed to fish on your fishing licence – some lakes are private and you won’t be able to buy a fishing license for these lakes.
