Furuhaugli is located to the east of the E6 and the National Park Trail over Dovrefjell. At 1007 meters above sea level, it is close to nature and the wildlife of the surrounding area.

Hjerkinn Fjellstue og Fjellridning
Hjerkinn Fjellstue og Fjellridning (Hjerkinn Mountain Lodge and Mountain Riding) goes back a long way and is now run by the 13th generation. The hosts will ensure that you relax and rest before the next stage of your trip. The lodge is located east of Hjerkinn, next to County Road 27 that goes to Folldal.
The lodge has hotel rooms and self-catering apartments. Breakfast and dinner are served at scheduled times, providing a good start and end to a day full of experiences.

Grimsdalshytta
Grimsdalshytta is distinctive, and the only DNT (The Norwegian Trekking Association) cabin along the Tour de Dovre. The idyllic farmyard is located in the heart of Grimsdalen valley, providing views across the Rondane mountainous area.
The tourist cabin has rooms with both two and four beds, larger rooms and a dormitory. You must bring your own bed linen, sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner. These can also be rented. Breakfast and home-cooked dinners are served at scheduled times and provide energy for more experiences.

What is a DNT cabin?
The tourist cabin has rooms with both two and four beds, larger rooms and a dormitory. All beds have duvets and pillows with slip covers. Use your own sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner, or you can rent bed linen. Meals are served at scheduled times. There are toilets and communal showers, and you can even choose between an indoor and outdoor toilet at Grimsdalshytta! Hiking opportunities for children and adults
Grimsdalen offers some great and easy terrain where you can go for short or long walks.
Children’s hiking path There is a great little hiking path adapted for children and young people from Grimsdalshytta. It is about one kilometre long and runs along the trail around the cabin. The path has questions posted along it about nature and wildlife that are suitable for both children and adults. The answers are available at the reception.

Toftemo Turiststasjon is a long-established stopping place at Dovre. In natural surroundings just off the E6, the place has provided travellers with shelter for hundreds of years.
